Simple Location

There is a simple web application that demonstrates the main features of the modules QuickBlox Location and QuickBlox Users.

POST and GET-requests are sent using jQuery. Since the Javascript does not allow the developer to send requests to another domain that is using a proxy written in PHP. It is a file that reads the remote file and returns it to the same domain on which the Javascript-file is located.

The application allows users to create a query using the form

POST http://geopos.aws02.mob1serv.com/users?user[app_id]={appId}&user[name]={userName}

remove an existing user

POST http://geopos.aws02.mob1serv.com/users/{userId}.xml

For the selected user developer can specify one or more geolocations.

These modules in conjunction with each other can be used, for example, in applications such as:

• "Send a Kiss" by Avon on Facebook
• "Halloween Smiles" by QuickBlox on Facebook
• "Facebook QuickBlox Location Sample" by QuickBlox on Facebook
